We’ll give the transfiguring affirmations for the raising of the Light. One of these days, I’m going to diagram these affirmations for you, but right now I’ll just do them. We’re not going to stretch for this, but we are going to raise our arms to receive the Light and form the chalices in which God pours his energy. Now you can visualize your star and begin to feel the star pulling the white fire up your spine. You meditate on an action of pull and an action of flow and each time you give a decree, you feel that energy rising to the star. Together: (Decree 60.01 Give 1x).

Please be seated. How many of you tried the other exercise today? How do you like it?

There’s a prophecy in the Book of Revelation which is quoted on the Roman Numeral 26 of Climb the Highest Mountain. It is taken from the tenth chapter of Revelation which marks the test of the ten. Now the little book, little in this sense means that it is compact because it is the white fire core going in. Let us say that the word “little” means concentrated. The little book is the everlasting gospel of God which is Climb the Highest Mountain. And I want to give you the mystery of this concept of the sweetness of the Law in the mouth.

Your first confrontation with the Law is a sense of great joy and the great sweetness of God Consciousness. When you begin to digest the Law there is a chemicalization. It’s the process where darkness becomes Light. The Light is taken in within you and its contact with darkness is like the contact of two incompatible chemicals. There’s like an explosion, It’s that darkness can’t contain Light and therefore it has to be transformed because it cannot remain in the presence of Light. The simple illustration of this is turning on the light switch and there is either light or darkness but they don’t occupy the same place.

Now the thing I want to tell you about the concepts of Climb the Highest Mountain, over the past 5 years Mark and I have been working on all of the 33 chapters. I think I’ve worked harder on the chapters that aren’t published than I’ve worked on those that are in the book. They’re very thorough; they’re very lengthy. As I sat in my focus at La Tourelle working on the book, messengers of God would come and bring scrolls of concepts, of outlines, of the way they wanted things outlined in various chapters including these.

The revelations were given and they were so high that sometimes I would groan because of the influx of the concept and the consciousness upon my consciousness. And there were many occasions where I had to say to the messenger of God, “This is all I can take for today. I can’t take anymore.” And I experienced this “bitter in the belly.” The bitterness is the chemicalization of Truth in the consciousness.

Now I’m sure you realize that my state of attunement had to be very, very high to be able to stand in the presence of cosmic beings delivering their outlines for this book that is to be the scripture of the new age. So I want you to know that it is at a very high plateau of consciousness that this still occurs.

I’m sure that you realize that John, when he was on the Isle of Patmos, and the angel of Jesus came to him, that he was in a very high state of consciousness; and yet, even in this high state of consciousness the little book, because of it’s concentrated energies, once these are taken in they explode and they begin to transform the whole system, and that is the bitterness.

Now my job, when I come before you to lecture, is to try to bring you to the point where these revelations were made to me, not to pass on to you intellectual knowledge. You can go up in the mountain and sit down and read the everlasting gospel and you’ll have the knowledge of it. But I am trying to raise your consciousness so that you will have the same experiences that I had when I received the revelation. I have tried to do this in many ways and I have many ways of approaching it as you will see in these 12 weeks. But I do want you to know that my goal in standing here and speaking to you is to give you what you can’t get on your own, is to give you something more and to give you the contact and also to use the authority of my office to assist you in cleansing your life so that you can go forth to preach the everlasting gospel in the Spirit.

We’ll have many, many teachers that can teach it as the letter; but I want you also to convey the same Spirit which was conveyed to me and which I would wish to convey to you.  So the reception of the everlasting gospel is the test of the ten for the two witnesses. The receipt of this book into our consciousness demanded a total sacrifice, total selflessness, a total surrender of our personal lives, a laying down of our lives for the Masters.

I want to read to you a letter because this letter is a spiral, the origin of the spiral of the messengers from the heart of Saint Germain. You’ll notice in the first verse of this chapter of Revelation, it says: “In the days of the voice of the seventh angel” (the seventh angel signifies the seventh dispensation of the seventh age which is under Saint Germain.) “When he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants, the prophets.”  It’s amazing how accurate Revelation is…When you know Revelation.

This letter is not dated, but it was written in 1961 and it marks 12 years, a 12‑year spiral from its origin to the present. Now I’d like you to put your work aside or close your notebooks and meditate because I want to convey to you the Spirit and if there’s anything I want you to remember out of this letter, I will repeat it after it’s finished so you can give your full concentration to the consciousness of Saint Germain.

In the Name of Almighty God, we call for the full power and authority of our Beloved Saint Germain, our causal bodies of Light, to focus here the consciousness of the two witnesses and the anchoring of the everlasting gospel of God in the consciousness of humanity for the release of the Golden Age teachings.

Beloved Elizabeth and Mark,

The dawning of the consciousness of God in the human soul is the most important event to ever occur in life, and is only eclipsed by a still more fervent expansion of its love and Light. Humanity is all a part of God and I am so certain that you both, who have at least inwardly so completely dedicated yourselves to service on our behalf will understand why I elect to enter into communion with you both at this time in order to further assist Beloved Morya in clarifying further the matters in which you both have appealed to him.

Blessed ones remember always that every human tie which was once made and is then loosened will one day be united in a sublime unity, for this is our holy purpose. Where a climate substantially more harmonious to the carrying out of God’s work is available in a new community, the move to relocate is often wise. Elements of expanding service ought to be recognized, for only in the Ascended Masters’ teachings as you recognized is the present hope of the world.

The mighty storehouse of harmonious love you have shared in the past witnesses in your almost overpowering affection for one another. I feel certain you both know that this love is intended to be utilized in the service of the Light and to smooth your joint endeavors. Certain events in connection with Beloved Morya have recently occurred which make it urgent for Mark to begin his work of training you as is our wish, Beloved Elizabeth, in becoming a full‑fledged messenger of the Ascended Masters.

To be, as were Mary and I in the days of Jesus’ mission, husband and wife, would afford a certain protection to the complete attainment of that degree of spiritual service as keeps open the doorway into octaves of Light. Because we know the great Law, we insist that you individually shall decide on your own willingness to suffer the criticism or hardship associated with both entering into holy matrimony and the spiritual marriage of being completely one with our cause wherein at times you may be temporarily apart in time and space in order to better expand our Light.

A love such as you both have when it is consummated in a closer union, will result in one of the best and greatest loves in history ‑ one from which neither of you will anxiously ever withdraw, even to separate for moments. For this reason I propose an examination of the rigors of serving our cause. For it is to this we draw you and not for the mere pleasantries of association ‑ good those these may be. Yet the Ascended Masters need you. El Morya needs you. And to the best possible future, I pray you both may be dedicated.

Past mistakes can be corrected, for they were not made by your Holy Christ Self, but through human impulse. The life of the kingdom is not for a moment, but as Mary and I knew then and know today, in the fullness of the Light is in the blessedness of forever. I pray with you and for you that our love increase its radiance on your path until every possible lifestream ‑ and especially the children and youth of the world ‑ dear Elizabeth; are God‑taught and exalted into the atmosphere of holy childhood.

I AM devoted to your Light

Saint Germain.

This is a dictation. I have the original copy which was typed by Mark on his own little typewriter, the first typewriter that the Summit Lighthouse ever had. That’s the way Mark began taking dictations until I decided that he should have some dictating equipment.

Now I have a reason for reading that to you, because I want to affirm in your consciousness the holiness of the union of twin flames in the sight of God and the holiness of service in marriage to God. And I want you to feel that holiness and feel how it is consecrated by the Masters. And so I want you to see how close the Masters can come to you when you have that sense of holiness of your life. The Masters may be very much inclined to write letters to each of you as their chelas. They’re so inclined that they decided to have “Pearls of Wisdom” every week so that they could write letters to the specific needs of chelas.

But, as you know, the messenger cannot be writing letters to, personal letters to students because the greater work of the world is at hand.

But I want you to remember all the days of your life how close the Masters are in the intimate circle of awareness of your own realization of God direction and purpose, how very close the Masters are when you embark upon a mission to serve their cause and how closely they remain with you when you do give them your all.

At the time that that letter was written to us, we were making the decision as to whether or not we should be married and that was the advice of Saint Germain that we should be married.

I’m sure that many of you do not realize but the activity of the I AM Movement so stressed the wickedness and the evilness of sex that to be married in the eyes of many, many people who had been trained in this movement was a definite compromise and for them a concession that Mark and Elizabeth were truly not spiritual people or highly evolved people. This is a consciousness of darkness spawned by a personage whom we call the “Moon Mother,” a personage who identifies with and as the Great Whore, the highest perversion of the Divine Feminine.

And so you see the criticism, the condemnation we bore for being married and for having children during 12 years of our association from thousands, from ten to a hundred thousand people, I’m certain, in this nation viciously attacked us because of our marriage and because of the children we bore. But because of our great determination to dedicate our lives as Mary and Joseph did to the bring­ing forth of the Christ, we were willing to weather that criticism for posterity. These things are no sacrifice. These are things you do because you know they are right and it’s of little concern what people think. But I can tell you that the cross can be very heavy.

The victory of our union has been the fruit of four children and a worldwide organization. When Saint Germain wrote that letter, The Summit Lighthouse had about a hundred members and only the vision that God gave to me and to Mark is what made us see the vastness of the plan which is still only in its inception. But because we bore that condemnation, there was something vindicated on earth and the Divine Woman is coming forth, arrayed in white in the glory of the true image of the Divine Feminine. A tide has turned and I can stand here and teach to you the concepts of the Woman Being Clothed with the Sun and being wed to the Holy Christ Child.

I consider it a great victory over the darkness of condemnation of the Divine Woman and of the sacred ritual of marriage. And I consider that this is one of the greatest gifts that we can give to you who will go forth in the consciousness of holding the image of the Father‑Mother God and setting forth the Holy Family for the Aquarian Age.

It was the final condemnation, the final lash of the end of the Piscean Age, this condemnation. You would have to have gone through it and lived through it to know what I am speaking of. It’s a great mystery to many to understand why people become seized with this condemnation over the natural flow of life and creativity. But it exists and I want you to know because we’ve won the fight, the fight is also won for you.

It’s the same with every Avatar. When Jesus laid down his life, demonstra­ted the victory over death on the cross, he did it for all of us in the sense that the pattern is fixed. When we come to do it, we do not have as great a trial as Jesus had because he has done it for us, he has set the pattern. We can do all things he did because we have his momentum combined with our own to do it. So he set the example for the Piscean Age.

Now it was the mission of Mark, who was embodied as the author of the Gospel of Mark, to bring to fulfillment the teachings of Jesus in the Piscean Age. The very first thing he did in the Piscean Age was to write the Gospel of Mark to set forth the teachings of Jesus.

He also set forth teachings in the Essene Community which were part of the Essene library at Qumran which we do not have in phy­sical form. Immediately, he re‑embodied as Origen of Alexandria and set forth the greatest works and teachings of Christ. He taught of the Hierarchy of Light and the hierarchy of the fallen ones. He set forth the teachings of reembodiment and of the law of cause and effect as Jesus taught it. The writings of Origen of Alexandria read like Climb the Highest Mountain and we have preserved less than one‑tenth of those writings because they were books burned when the books were burned in Alexandria; and they were burned by Theodora and Justinian, the wicked heads of state at Constantinople who anathematized the writings of Origen, all of them. They persecuted Origen. He was put in a dungeon and castrated. He spent the end of his life in a dungeon.

He reembodied in France as Launcelot and went from France to England in quest of the Holy Grail, in quest of his teacher, El Morya, who was embodied as King Arthur in the days of the Knights of the Round Table. Saint Germain was embodied as Merlin. He taught the alchemy to the King and to the court. And so there in that gathering where Mother Mary with Joseph of Arimathea and the seven who journeyed by boat on the Mediterranean‑-they had come there just after the ascension of Jesus and planted the cup, the sacred cup of the Holy Grail in the well at Glastonbury.

So Arthur reembodied. He had been Melchior, the wise man, who had come to the feet of Christ. Now he is the King Arthur who comes to the feet of the Christ to found the circle, the circle of twelve around the center, the Christ, the thirteenth in the center. That is the pattern of the mystery school. There is the one who always holds the focus of the Christ as the dot in the center of the circle. Then there are the twelve, then the other seventy. And there are rings and rings and rings of levels of adepts, levels of initiates. I was embodied then as Guinevere.

And so you see how Saint Germain speaks of our great love, writing this letter to us in 1961, one of the greatest loves in history because the union of our twin flames, the love of our twin flames, which is truly the love of our hearts to serve God, has come forth again and again in history. Not all twin flames have had the opportunity to serve together as we have over and over again. When Mark was embodied as Mark, the author of the Gospel, I was Martha, the sister of Mary and of Lazarus. So our twin flames were serving to anchor the Christian dispensation as we had volunteered to assist Mary and Jesus in their great mission.

We were present at the ascension of Jesus. I was present at the ascension of Mother Mary and so we were very closely tied to that white fire core of the Christian dispensation.

Mark embodied again as Saint Bonaventure at the time of Saint Francis. The Mother of Bonaventure brought him to Saint Francis. He was sick, almost to the point of death. She brought him to Francis and Francis prayed and he was healed. And they exclaimed “Oh Bonaventure,” oh good fortune that this child was healed, at the age of 5 or 6. And the mother consecrated him to a life of service to God and he was called ever thereafter “Good Fortune” ‑ Bonaventure. He became one of the pillars, of the doctors, in the Catholic Church, to set forth the true doctrine. Saint Ambrose, Saint Augustine, Thomas Aquinas and Bonaventure comprised the foundation of the Fathers of the Catholic Church.

Prior to that Mark embodied as the first king of France to set forth the flame of the Piscean Age in France. You know God is such a great dramatist. He unfolds the story of our lives with such gentleness and beauty. Mark was not Christian in that embodiment. His name was Clovis, C‑l‑o‑v‑i‑s, the first of the Louis Kings. The name, “Clovis” degenerated to Louis. This is how languages evolve. So that is the ancient form, of Louis, Clovis, C‑l‑o‑v‑i‑s.

At that time it was a feudal kingdom. All of the little independent lords of France had no focal point. There was no one that was stronger than all the rest. So there was no kingdom; there was no nation of France. There was just a group of little separate states that warred against each others fighting for more goods, for more land. And so, Clovis rose up as the Lord that had the greatest strength. This was proved in a battle which he had.

But before the coming about of that battles he had heard of Clothilde who was supposed to be the fairest maiden, the most eligible maiden in all of the little separate states of France. So he sent his messenger to her uncle who was the ruler in place of her father. He had murdered her father and usurped his position and so he came, the messenger came, was received by Clothilde who welcomed him in the Christian tradition of washing his feet. So the messenger was much impressed with the humility of Clothilde, that she herself in her high estate had washed his feet, went back and reported to Clovis of her beauty and her humility and said that indeed, she would make a good wife to the king‑-or he was not yet the king‑-to Clovis. So Clovis asked the hand of this maiden, of the uncle. The uncle, being conniving and greedy, determined that the alliance would give him more power, as the alliance of the two little states and the fame of Clovis and his power, so he consented only on that basis.

So they prepared a great cortege, a great caravan of horses and carriages to come and fetch Clothilde. Clothilde knew that if her uncle thought this over one more day he would change his mind. Because of the conniving man he was, he would see that she would have her escape and would have the power then to overcome him, who had betrayed her father.  So Clothilde leaped on her horse in the middle of the night and galloped out of her uncle’s palace and made way for the place of Clovis.  And so by her escape, she was able to become the bride of Clovis.

But she said to him, concerning this battle which he was to wage, and concerning his faith, that he ought to become Christian.  And so he said to her that he would pray to the Christian God and if he won the battle, he would become Christian and all of his men and all of the kingdom would become Christian.  So the Masters must have been listening to that.  So the battle went favorably. Clovis emerged as the Lord of all of the lesser lords, the feudal lords.  He became the first king of France and his focal point was the Ile de la Cité in the center of Paris, in the center of the Seine.  That is where Paris was born, where France was born.  That is the heart.

So because of Clothilde, France, all of her people, became Christians and began to worship the Christ. That was another embodiment of service which Mark and I rendered of anchoring the flame of the Christian dispensation in France. We have felt that today it was our mission to bring to the French people the teachings of the I AM, the law of the everlasting gospel, because we had taken them that far. Now the church has failed them. The church has compromised. Darkness has set in and so they no longer adhere to their religion. The French people are not devout or religious people. And so we have a karma, a good karma for having brought them so far, but karma as opportunity.  We brought the cycle that far; we have to fulfill that cycle.  So there are millions of French-speaking people all over the world today who count as their patron saints Clovis and Clothilde and yet who go no further than the Piscean Age or the Piscean dispensation and its perversion by darkness. These have to be brought into the Aquarian Age and it is my great hope that some among you will feel your calling is to the French-speaking people and that we will go forward with our mission in France.

As karma goes, of course, we had to return again as the King and queen of France. Because once you get to be a king and a queen, you have a king and a queen’s karma and the only way you can balance that karma is to have the same position over again because you have to have the same authority to effect change and to work change.  So it’s not that we’re monopolizing the office, but it’s just the way karmic law works. People come back again and again in the same station because that is where they make karma – good and bad karma.  You make good karma, it attracts you back to the position so that you can mare more good karma.  That’s the reward for service.

So I wanted to show you the outline of some of the services that were rendered by Mark.  Almost at the exact moment of the fulfillment of the Piscean cycle on the date of February 19 or 18?, the final dictation of Saint Germain and Jesus.  (Want to get that date?)  I want to give you the exact date.  Mark came out to Santa Barbara, gave a dictation from Saint Germain. I remained in Colorado Springs although I had a great desire to accompany him on that occasion. I followed my duty to keep the flame first and the Masters had long ago prophesized that the tale of our lives would be a tale of two cities – that Mark would be in one city, I would be in another, anchoring the dictations of the Brotherhood.

So I gave the dictation from Jesus on that date in Colorado Springs in which He gave the message of the alchemical union, the marriage of the Lamb. It was the date of the transfer of energy from Pisces to Aquarius, the change of date and it was the 18th of February. I’m going to have you listen to those dictations and take notes on them, as part of this course, because I want you to have the impact and the fire of the transition where Jesus the Christ hands the torch to Saint Germain for the bringing in of the Aquarian Age. Mark stood on this place, gave that dictation, his final dictation. He drove home. He came home Tuesday night. I saw him for 3 days. Saturday morning he took his leave and by the following Monday, he was ascended. So Just 8 days after that dictation, he was part of the Ascended Hierarchy who had fulfilled the Piscean Age.

Now this will answer your question ‑ some of you will have the question as to why we keep on reembodying and reembodying. Mark used to tell the joke about a boy in Hayward, California, who was just a bit rebellious toward the teachings and toward the Masters and couldn’t quite swallow the whole concept at all. And he said to Mark, “If you’re so smart how come you’re not ascended?” And Mark thought for awhile and he said. “Morya, you’re going to have to give me a good answer.”

So the answer that Morya came up with for this scallywag was, “We don’t skim all the cream off at once.” And of course that is the Law of Hierarchy. The Masters do not remove all of the souls who have the high mastery from the earth or there would be no one left to hold the focus. But the reason is you can balance your karma but you may not have fulfilled your divine‑plan. You can balance 51 percent of your karma, but if it is your divine plan to fulfill the Piscean Age, you will continue to reembody until that Age is fulfilled which is exactly what Mark did over and over again.

And so there is a thread, tremendous thread, that runs through 2,000 years. I could give you about another ten embodiments of service that we’ve rendered during that time ‑ some less known, some greater known embodi­ments. But they all show the manifestation of the teachings of Christ in sore aspect; some aspect of the consciousness of the Christ is brought forth.

In our lecture on the Corona Class lessons today, I will be giving you the outline of how that was brought forth through Francis and Clare. So you see, sometimes people ask, “Are there going to be more messengers trained?” People have volunteered for me to train them so that they could take Mark’s place and give dictations. And I have explained to them that messengers are born.  They’re not made in one life. They’re made over thousands and thousands of years of continual service to the Ascended Hierarchy.

Thirty‑three centuries ago, Mark and I lived as Ikhnaton and Nefertiti in Egypt and Mark brought forth the teachings of Hierarchy, of the one God. The first monotheism was brought forth by Ikhnaton 33 centuries ago. I want to spell that for you and I’m trying to think how you spell it: I‑k‑h‑a‑n‑a‑t‑o‑n. You notice that aton is the last part of his name. He was born with the name Amenhotep the IV., A‑m‑e­-n‑h‑o‑t‑e‑p. Amenhotep the IV, his name was taken from the god of the black priests, Amen, whom he desired no longer to worship, whose religion he over­threw.

He cast down their idols. They were practicing whoredom right in the temple with young virgins. The priests would gather the young virgins into the temple and right upon the altar, they would have intercourse with them. The records of this can be seen at Baalbek. All over the Middle East this was the custom, the total desecration of the feminine ray. Amenhotep decided he wasn’t going to have the name, Amen, in his name so he took the name, Ikhnaton, as the worshiper of Aton, the God of the Sun. He worshiped Helios and Vesta and he called them Aton or “at one”.  Aton means “at one”. And Lanello gave me that at this moment. I never knew it before. Aton means “at one”. So he worshiped the Father‑Mother God. He went in, threw out all these black priests of Egypt, all their temples, all their idols, decided that the whole country should be turned upside down, inside out, moved the capitol, built a whole new city changed the government and wrote poetry. The first record of poetry in modern times is Ikhnaton’s most beautiful hymns to the sun. He wrote poetry to his bride, Nefertiti. And so you have the culture of the Divine Mother which he initiated the spiral of.

Now this was a focus of the messenger of God, messenger of Helios and Vesta. Mark was a priest of the Sacred Fire, a temple priest on Atlantis. As I was a temple virgin, he was making invocations. He was called a master of invocation. You can see where my momentums of making the calls that you see me make come from, all the way back from, Atlantis, from our causal bodies we have this momentum of invocation.

So these are talents which do not come with a few easy lessons.  And don’t let anyone make you such promises, that for a fee and a few easy lessons you’re going to be a channel, quote. There are psychics all over America today training channels. Realize and have awe for the great office that God bestows on His initiates to bring the Word to an age, the Word of accuracy. One of the, what I felt was the most rewarding statements that Mark made after his ascension was his examination of the teachings that had come forth through The Summit and especially of the teachings on the Clock and he was happy to report the high degree of accuracy of those teachings, delighted to see how accurately the Masters had laid down for 15 years line upon line the truth for the ages.

So you see, the Brotherhood needs teachers. They don’t need a lot of messengers. People that want to be trained for high service must realize that at AMU you’re being trained to be teachers of the vast compendium of wisdom that is set forth through the messengers through centuries.

Another embodiment as a messenger which I spent was as an oracle, at Delphi. That was a mystery school of the virgins of the Temple of Vesta, was under Pallas Athena. Pallas Athena is the Goddess of Truth. She serves directly under Vesta, Helios and Vesta. And you go to Rome, you see the Temple of Vesta. Now Pallas Athena started this mystery school of temple virgins who would become oracles.  An oracle has to do with mouth: o-r. An oracle is one who, speaks truth. And so as long as these, this order kept its holiness and its attunement with Truth, Truth was released to the people.

There came a time when there was a desecration, a tearing down of this mystery school and of the temple virgins and so the Masters withdrew this form of communication to the people. I’m sure you know that a lot of the myths of ancient Greece and ancient Rome are based on the legends of the Ascended Masters and the time when the people remember talking and talking with Ascended Masters on Atlantis. And you can, when you study those myths, esoterically, you can see the interpretation of the Light, the battle of Light and darkness and how there is in the race a race memory of walking with gods and goddesses who are the true Ascended Masters. And today they’re only myths because of the great fear in mankind’s conscious­ness. They fear to believe that the myths could be real. And so they are taught only as legend.

So the Masters have become a legend in our society and you are here to make the legends, the myths, the folklore of the people once again a living, blazing reality by your own witness. So we’re grateful to our Beloved Mark for having set forth the witness so profoundly.

One of the crowning achievements of Mark in France in his embodiment as Louis the XIV was the building of Versailles, the greatest tribute to the World Mother in the West. It’s like the Taj Mahal of the east, the beautiful outlay of the palace of Versailles. He instituted modern forms of government. You’ll recall it was Louis the XVI who was guillotined, Louis the XVI was not Mark. But Louis the XIV is called the Sun King. I want you to always remember that. Louis the XIV is the Sun King. It’s very interesting because Ikhnaton worshiped the sun 31 centuries before. The glory of the sun was truly behind France in her golden age and her golden age of glory was also in literature, in art and in music. And this all came under the sponsorship of our causal bodies.

I was embodied as the wife of Louis the XIV ‑ Marie Thérèse, who was Spanish. She came from Spain and there was an alliance formed, of course, between the King and Queen of Spain and the King and Queen of France and they were married. So the flame of the Divine Mother was established and all of the literature that followed in the centuries came forth though the dedication of our causal bodies in that life. Finally at the end of the 1800’s, there was a decay in the impressionistic schools of art. In Gauguin and into this century in John Paul Satre and the existentialists, you see a breaking down of the spirals that were set forth during two of our reigns. So you see how the false hierarchy tries to pervert the spirals before their completion.

France today is no more the sun kingdom. But she will return to glory when her people embrace the teachings of the everlasting gospel. And I pray that God will raise up many souls to see that this teaching flowers in France, in England, in every continent, in every nation.

Mark and Elizabeth Clare Prophet

When Mark Prophet was a young man the ascended master El Morya appeared to him but, unable to reconcile the turbaned Eastern adept with his lifelong devotion to Jesus, Mark dismissed him.

Years later, El Morya returned. Having realized that the path of the Ascended Masters was also the path of Jesus, Mark accepted Morya as his teacher and took on the rigors of Eastern discipleship. Mark also studied the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and was for a time associated with Self-Realization Fellowship as well as the Rosicrucian order.

After serving in the Air Force in World War II, Mark lectured on Christian and Eastern mysticism and the Masters of Wisdom from 1945 until 1952 when he began publishing a series of letters for his students called Ashram Notes, dictated by El Morya from his Ashram at Darjeeling, India.

In 1958 the master called him to Washington, D.C., to found The Summit Lighthouse for the purpose of publishing the teachings of the ascended masters. In August 1958, El Morya dictated to Mark the first of the Pearls of Wisdom, weekly letters from the ascended masters to their students, launching a worldwide movement.

On April 22, 1961, Elizabeth, the twin flame of Mark, attended a meeting of The Summit Lighthouse in Boston, and met Mark, the messenger for the ascended masters, for the first time. She then began her training as a messenger for the masters. Mark and Elizabeth were married on March 16, 1963, and continued to build The Summit Lighthouse together.

Elizabeth Clare Wulf was born in Red Bank, New Jersey, in 1939. She attended Antioch College, later transferring to Boston University, where she received a B.A. in political science. Her spiritual quest sprang from her childhood recollection of past lives and her determination to find confirmation of the truth that Jesus was speaking to her in her heart. By age nine she had attended every Protestant and Catholic church and Jewish synagogue in Red Bank without finding the answers she was looking for.

From age nine to eighteen she studied the complete works of Mary Baker Eddy along with her Bible and attended the local Christian Science church and Sunday school. Although satisfied with the deeper truths of metaphysics she was learning, she knew there were missing pieces and she continued her search.

At age eighteen she opened a book on the ascended masters that she had seen in her parents’ library for years but never taken off the shelf. She found herself face to face with a picture of the ascended master Saint Germain. “This was the turning point of my life,” she recalled later. For the first time she had felt the presence of an ascended master, and she spent the next four years searching for someone who could lead her to Saint Germain.

On April 22, 1961, she attended a meeting of The Summit Lighthouse in Boston and met its leader, Mark L. Prophet, messenger for the ascended masters. She recognized him as the teacher she had been looking for all of her life, the one who would lead her on her spiritual path. Within six weeks the ascended master El Morya appeared to her in a park in Boston and told her to go to Washington, D.C., where Mark Prophet would train her to be a messenger.

Answering the call, Elizabeth entered a period of intense spiritual discipline and inner soul awakening. Three years later she received Saint Germain’s anointing to be a messenger of the Great White Brotherhood. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, she began delivering prophetic messages from the ascended masters.

Mark and Elizabeth were married in 1963, and they had four children over the next nine years.
